About Me (and We)

I live in an Atlanta surburb and met my husband (and frequent subject of this blog) online five years ago. Although I usually tell people I bought him on eBay, the truth is we met on eHarmony and we've hardly been apart since. Because he was my only my third (and last) date on eHarmony, I often tell him he's the best $99 I ever spent. It makes him feel special when I say that.

About the BUB:
Much of what I talk about on this blog is related to our boat, a 4550 Pilothouse we bought in 2008. It had been floating mostly unused for nearly a decade before we bought it and hadn't been updated or renovated in nearly 20 years. We affectionately refer to her as the BUB, short for the Butt Ugly Boat, even though she really isn't ugly anymore.
